Nokia E70 Firmware upgrade screws WLAN access

I have had the Nokia E70 for a year now. It had the firmware 1.0610.05.07

I never used the phone to it's full potential, until I ran into this site yesterday and read about the new firmware. So updated the phone to firmware 3.0633.09.04 which is what Nokia website said is the lates for my my product code.

Before the firmware upgrade, I had my Dlink router set as a Access point and I had no problems browsing websites.
I even had voipstunt.com SIP client setup and could make phone calls.

But now after upgrade, I re-defined the access point. It goes to the defined home page of news.google.com. But any link I click from there, just sits there showing as if it's downloading the page, but the bar never moves beyond 0 kb.

And the voipstunt registeration also does not work, either.

This just sucks that after upgrading to a firmware 2 levels higher than current, I get worse service than before. Without WLAN access, this phone's feature set suddenly looks so less.

Anyone, please help.
