Hi

Hi guys,

The battery of w960i lasts only for 12 hours ... even when i dont use walkman, WLAN and all sorts of other battery consuming applications, the battery nearly dies out at the end of the day .....

i know theres nothing wrong with the phone ... but some application that is constantly trying to run and consuming the battery.... such as Email .... it keeps polling the internet account and so it drains a lot of battery ....
so i turned it off...

now i have also turned of 3G .....

but still battery life sucks ....

any cure for my "baby" ?

Hi xPrincex
Go to Task manager and look at the open apps and let us know whats there. Also check to see if wlan, 3g, bluetooth connections are running. Where did you get the phone and the battery in question?

Such a high power consumption is not normal unless something *really* intensive is running all the time. You could try switching the phone off and then on again to start from scratch with no apps or connections running. If you have configured your email to make connections throughout the day to check for email perhaps you should disable this?

If there are no network connections running and no serious apps to drain the battery then it may be worth taking it back to where you purchased and asking for a replacement.
