Try a hard reset (power on the phone whilst holding 3, * and GREEN buttons). Keep the buttons held down until the Nokia logo and music come on.
If this doesn't work, I assume you cannot reset the code using NSS to the one printed behind the battery compartment?
The phone did not reset when pressing those 3 buttons for quite a period of time... 😞
ok i finally carried out the hard-reset however nothing happened.... i still can't detecct my phone 😞
u need to uninstall the pc suite then reinstall it
then it will check for the drivers and install them to allow connection,
i had to do this the other week after my pc stopped detecting the phone and deleted my drivers.
it worked perfect after i did the above.
p.s it was also after a update
...first thing I always do is panic. Nothing like those sheer moments of terror you feel as your N95 undergoes a brief hiccup that you've not ever experienced before - followed by the sheer elation from having it switch on again and work perfectly.
You tell yourself that you'll never do anything like that again, hug your phone and apologize to it, but you know, a week later and you're trying to figure out how to tweak the swipolicy CRC's yet again 😊
