noob installation question

if you downloaded it to your pc you should install it with pcsuite

Hi OrangeJuice1337,

In order to install the .sis or .sisx file, connect your n95 8gb to your computer with usb, and click the mass storage function when its syncs. Then place the file you've downloaded on ur memory card when you open it up. Then unplug the phone, go to file manager, go to second tab and your installation file should be there ready for you to use.

I always put things in my "other" folder on the memory card (n95 8gb internal mem card) and then disconnect the phone from the PC and then navigate to the file on my phone.

I have one other question... if I download files to my n95 8gb from the internet... eg a SIS file that didnt install or a ZIP file I didn't open... are those files just sitting on my phone somewhere or do I have to manually delete them? If so where are they?

if u did'nt click save after opening it,it would delete itself when u close it

I could have sworn that was all covered in the manual!
