An Alternative to N95

It's strange for me to see a Samsung running Symbian. Some good specs there.

Now thats impressive. If they fix the flash, that could easily be an N95 beater.

Looks very interesting but it shows how advanced the N95 is that a new Samsung is compared to a year old Nokia. Does look like a possible upgrade option. Reading through it, I don't see any negatives compared to the N95?

Samsungs main strength has been making semi decent low - mid range phones that look good. Nice to see them branching out and giving nokia a little competition.

IMHO samsung cant compete with Nokia... they should stick to TV's... cause Nokia TV's are rubbish!

Seriously though, as has been said, this is gonna have to be aimed at a lower end/price market or its going nowhere.

Im not a friend of Samsung mobile.

Where I'm concerned, the top three mobile companies in order are Nokia, SonyEricsson, then Samsung. Out of the three, Nokia first branched into the 5MP phone market, then SonyEricsson, and now Samsung, so it definitely makes sense to me.

I wouldn't touch a Motorola or Alcatel with a 10ft barge pole!

Hmmm, I stick with the top 2.
EDIT>> I should say stick with 'buying' the top 2.

Im happy to test anything! 😉

the build quality on that thing must be phenominal. that's a huge advantage right there. but i think this phone is only s60v3 and not FP1.

Ya know... I completely forgot about the LG Viewty

Does look like a nice phone. Just by looking at it you can tell the build quality is better than the n95.

I always have reservations about samsung phones though, they just aren't in the same league as nokia. Like someone said I'd rank it nokia, then SE, then samsung.

There will be no ngage on this either I take it because ngage is a nokia product.

Really nice looking phone though.
