Holster for 9210/9290

Is there a better holster than the leather one that Nokia makes? I've purchased it and it is far from satisfactory. It makes the hands-free connection pop free all the time and is too hard to get off your belt.

Any suggestions?

As far as the handsfree connection, you might try trimming the leather around the connection. As far as the case is concerned, I rarely use it becasue the 92xx is too big for me to wear on my belt. Typically I will use it only when I am wearing a coat or jacket (camoulflage).

Hope that helps.

Yep...already trimmed it with a small knife. Made the opening larger but I am up to the threads now and dare not cut any further. I have noted that NOkia offers another case for this phone that has a strap and an "integrated belt clip" and I'm seriously tempted....

Is that the one you can wear around your neck? IF so, then I think the 9290 slides in on one end versus on its side lie the one you have. ... I think.

I wish there was a case that would fit such that you can ope the 9290 up and use without removing from the case. Haven't found on of those yet.

Given that the 9290 has been out for a while we may never see a holster or any other style designs for it. We are being left behind I think. Sad to see but they will get my 9290 from me only after they hand me the next generation Communicator.

Yea, I am in agreement. Even with its obvious faults (size, no GPRS, no Tri-band, etc) it is still the most functional phone I have had. It really intergrates the phone and PDA very well.

This site has a TON of neat stuff for the 9290/9210! Talk about a nice find. Thanks for the heads-up.

I can trust only my right hand to carry my 9210 or my coat left inside pocket... And when I drive...my right side chair... 😉

Thank you for your attempt but it looks like they do not ship outside of Germany. I may be up the creek. Perhaps I will be able to find a vendor in the UK, Canada, or the US for these products from HAMA.

Thank anyways.
