Recently, my E90 system (firmware 0.7.40.1.2 French) became very unstable. Possible causes are:
- Buggy software installed (I have plenty)
- Micro-SD card defective or not compliant
- etc.
So my 1st question to the community would be: are there "bad" memory cards? (Mine is a Transcend 2 Gbytes), and the 2nd question would be: are there known buggy apps likely to cause system malfunction?
Short problem description:
- Nokia maps (v2 beta) doesn't save properly downloaded maps (they disappear mysteriously)
- Software installed onto the memory card disappear from time to time, specially after having used Nokia Maps; now all apps are installed in the main memory, and they seem to be much steadier
- I never lost any user file saved on the memory card, only binaries or maps
- The memory card was formatted using the phone, not the PC
- Before I formatted it, I checked it with the PC (chkdsk d: /F) and found no problem
