Can anyone help?
Im unable to remove the SMS envelope (next too GMS logo). I've cleared out my sms folders and it's still there?

is this a plain envelope, or does it have a symbol on it too?
can you post a screen image of it?
...also, a hint/tip I only discovered recently:
Press astrisk ( * ) in the message header list to toggle the messages between read and unread
I've got this same issue actually. It's an SMS Envelope with a little "i" in it. I'll try to post an image when I get a chance. I've already turned it off a couple times and taken out the battery and restarted with no luck
Edit: I found the solution, at least for the exact issue I was having. I tried the battery trick one more time and about 15 minutes after starting it up I went to my messages folder. Apparently I had a MMS message that hadn't downloaded correctly to my phone and it was sitting in the messages folder (this time around) waiting for download. When I opened the messages folder I got a popup that it was set to try to download at a certain time but I could try immediately. Downloaded immediately, opened it up and the annoying little 'i' envelope disappeared!
