Problem with Internet Radio instsallation HELP please.....

Hi everyone,

Help please if possible!!!!:con?

I installed Nokia Internet Radio onto my Nokia N95-1s 8GB memory card for me to enjoy.
My wife then needed to borrow my memory card for her phone (Nokia E51) and unfortunately whilst it was in her phone she accidentally deleted the Internet Radio (silly girl). 😮

She has since got rid of the E51 as she has been provided with a company phone so I have now got my memory card back at last.

I now want to re-install the Nokia Internet Radio application back onto the memory card for use again in my N95-1.

HOWEVER

When I try to install it either onto my memory card (using Phone Suite Application Installer) OR direct into the phones memory (using Phone Suite Application Installer) the phone says Nokia Internet Radio already installed do you want to overwrite it? to which I of course answer yes but then it says please delete Nokia Internet Radio first using File Manager and then re-install the application.

BUT :icon13:

I am unable to delete it as I cannot find any reference to Nokia Internet Radio in either the memory card (using USB Data transfer mode to look into the card) or the phone memory (using Phone Suite/Files to look into the phone).
I have even been through the process as explained in this Forum for removing stuck applications but again can find NO reference to Internet Radio in any file or folder etc!!!!

What can I do please to get Nokia Internet Radio back on my phone? :con?

Short answer - format your memory card. That'll wipe it clean for sure. 😊

Yeah, pop the card in a card reader, back up anything you want to keep and then format the card.
I'd also recommend installing apps to the phone memory as it makes removing memory cards much easier and ensures more predictable results

OK, that was the slightly more helpful version of my post. 😉

Thanks guys - backed up and reset the phone whilst keeping the memory card as it was and hey presto it worked - I can now instsall Nokia Internet Radio again. Thanks for your help!!!
