is there any possible way i could back my contacts aside from outlook and pc suite.
everytime i back up my files the contact.cdb file is always in use. so i tend to loose information that oulook does not support like pictures

Yup - copy the file contacts.cdb from c\system\Data. It's hard to restore t - the best way being copy the files to your clipboard, start your 9210 backing up (this will close all applications) and then paste it to your 9210.
