Nokia 9300 synch issue with Outlook and Nokia PC Suite

Dear All,

I'm having some problems with synchronizating my Nokia 9300 with Outlook 2003 through Nokia PC Suite.
Nokia PC Suite recognize my moblie and displays the "Connected to Nokia 9300" message. I'm currently able to browse the mobile's content but, when I click the "Synchronize Now" buttons the application reports a Synch failure. The synch process fails at "Waiting for Nokia 9300..." step.

I have a WinXP Pro SP2.

Do you have the latest PCSuite installed? If yes, re-install it... could be that.

I tried installing and uninstalling several versions of Nokia PC Suite but none was fine. In all cases the mobile was browseable but not synching with Outlook 2003.

The issue started once the laptop has been rebuilt with latest WinXP security patches and it seems me that this issue may be related to that patches even if I didn't find any reference to this issue in a lot of forums.
