Salling Software's Clicker. What an amazing piece of kit. Thanks to Gordonshowers for the original headsup. I've d/l it and think it so good I just had to share (as well as be available for any that encounter problems getting to work, though Salling's support there shouldn't be any).
Anyway, Clicker, once on your N95 will connect to your PC by either Bluetooth or wifi and, through scripting, control various aspects. It comes preconfigured for some things, (eg iTunes) and will work with Mac or Windows (I have both and can control iTunes on my Mac and laptop from one client on the N95). Such a tidy interface and controls are really easy. Now I can run iTunes, pipe the music through Airport speakers in whatever zone I want and change music, volume etc from my N95. You can even put the Mac to sleep at the end as well. Brilliant.
Have you seen phonetunes (#19) in the 'popular apps thread'?? Its a free app, works well too.

Yep, and been using it. However, discounting the fact that you have to pay for Clicker, I think it is a better app. It works over BT and wifi, controls iTunes on PC and Mac (something that Phonetunes can't do) with the one client on the N95, also controls other applications on your PC and system functions as well. Oh, and I quite like their easy interface and rate it better than phonetunes.
So yes it cost but I think Clicker is better. And, if you're any good at scripting, it's user configurable too.
good stuff...
phonetunes supports BT/Wifi & 3G (tho no idea how that works)
And yeah, only windoze.
Its always good to have a couple of choices. 😊
