Please post what doesn't work with this device. The idea is that the more press this type of information gets the more likely it is that firmware fixes will save the day. The longer a product has been out, the less likely it is that a company will issue a firmware fix. Also, this helps prospective buyers know what they are getting in to.
N82 - what doesn't work? Or, a thread of bugs
1) Does not correctly process DHCP leases. Specifically those with the 'network of one' (255.255.255.255).
2) WPA shared key does not support credential exchange.
bafy7:
(1) Could you detail the router settings you are using so that I can replicate them and try to connect with another S60 3rd edition phone and see if the problem is S60v3 specific?
(2) What do you mean by "credential exchange"? Is this a specific form of WPA? Or, are you saying WPA-Shared is broken in general? Again, router settings would be helpful so that I can try to replicate these errors and get confirmation.
Thanks for responding!

(1) HP WAP 530 enterprise access point. The DHCP server is an ISC dhcp server giving out ip address in the standard private class C address range (192.168.1.0) with a subnet mask of (255.255.255.255), and a default route of 192.168.1.1.
This works on Windows 2000/XP/Vista and MAC OSX, but many embedded devices will not add the default route as they see it as outside their subnet. Many institutions use 255.255.255.255 to mitigate inter host communication.
(2) 802.1x based authentication with WPA-Enterprise. EAP Flavour is TTLS/PEAP with MSCHAPv2 for credential exchange/ dynamic key generation. I couldn't see any sign of supplicant software on the N82. Though lt may have just been in a different place to the N95.
The second issue around WPA shared key and credential exchange does in fact work. The problem was trying to set it up and this has now been done (thanks to ar2036).
However problems around issue 1) and the failure to correctly process DHCP leases remain. Remember, you cannot enter an IP address because IP addresses are not static so it's impossible to manually enter the IPv4 settings. THe N82 has to process the DNCP lease.
