I have configured one touch access to work whilst connected to the USB cable and it works fine. The problem is that I very rarely connect via USB as I have the phone syncing regularly via bluetooth.
In my bluetooth settings I have enabled dial-up networking on the Nokia N95 and I can now see it as a "Bluetooth Modem" in my Phone & Modem Settings. When I access it via my bluetooth software, I can connect to the service and dial a phone number without a problem. I'm not sure how to configure it to dial an access point but I'm not concerned with that because that is the job of Nokia's One Touch Access software.
Here lies my problem. When I access the One Touch Access software it is looking for the USB connection. When I click on settings, there is nothing to select from in the drop down list.
Nokia help says that this list will use any modem found on the system however this is clearly not the case. Windows recognises that there is a bluetooth modem present yet the one touch access software does not.
Obviously this means I cannot use my N95 as a HSDPA access point from my laptop... I have rebooted the laptop numerous times as have I the phone but the fact I can access and the the dial-up network service from windows indicates that it is a Nokia specific issue.
has anyone else had this problem or possibly shed some light on my next step?
Thanks
