I still have a fundamental problem with my N95 - it doesn't retain settings, e.g. application settings, wifi passwords etc, just don't get saved. Which as you can imagine makes it a bit useless - having to log back into Gmail app each time is daft.
I took it into the shop (with sinking heart) and the guy confidently told me to download the application for resetting the cache from the Nokia site.
I've searched the site and can't find any such software. Anyone got any ideas on this or how to sort this without sending the phone back to the makers.
Thanks, Ivan
Reset cache?
I think he's fobbed you off...
cache wise you may need to either clear your web cache... or perhaps he means soft/hard reset.

First try a soft reset by keying in *#7780# this will not delete any of your contacts etc.
if that doesn't work try a hard reset by keying in *#7370# this will restore your phone to as shipped by the factory.
