TomTom Navigator 6 and N95

It'll work won't it?

It's just that the N95 doesn't show in their compatability list. I'm assuming that's just down to an out of date web page?

A mate tried to do something with a TomTom app and the phone wouldn't accept the programme. Apparently because it was a Version one and not 3? Personally I think it's because he was trying to load a pirate copy LOL

Anyways. Can I just go out, spend 80, utilise my external GPS and just get on wth it?

The whole Nokia Maps, etc is doing my head in and I'm never 100% sure if the device is connected to the web or not or where even the roads are so I'm going to bite the bullet.

Tsk, people never use the search function??

Tomtom does work on the N95, but not with the internal GPS.

So yes, you could either buy a seperate reciever, or use one of the other satnavs that do use the internal GPS. Garmin, navigon, etc etc.

Tom Tom 6 doesn't support n95's intergrated GPS, YET, and you can desable the network usage on nokia map.

At $80 for Garmin Mobile XT with the complete North American Maps, that's your best bargain! Garmin is definitely better than Tomtom and does work with the N95 internal GPS. It is very cool. I just loaded up an old version of my Bluecharts and I can see them on the N95.

Cheers dudes, Apologies for adding a bit of movement to the forum, sorry I mean Apologies for not using the search function 😉
