P800 running Windows2000

I want to run Windows2000 and remote-control my PC or Server with the P800 via Bluethooth.

Has anyone tried to configure the P800 as Thin-Client via Bluetooth with Windows Terminal Server or NetOp?

Is there a Client-Application for Symbian OS 7.0 for Windows Terminal Server or NetOp?

Or is it possible to emulate Windows CE on Symbian OS 7.0 in order to get compatibility with Windows Terminal Server?

Thanks

No such clients yet, but gino made an excellent VNC port. Search the forum for VNC, it'll let you control your Win2000 machine.

If you want, you could always port the opensource www.rdesktop.org to UIQ. 😊 (RDP Client to access Terminal server)

Or you can have Remote Control from us (www.bitween.com( that will be much more faster than VNC and will be released next week ...

I have tried remote controlling Win 2000, WinXp & Unix machines using P800 and VNC Viewer over bluetooth & internet. They work great. I use Belkin Bluetooth USB adapter and everything works great. It will be good to see a RDP client for P800 though... good luck.

I tried VNC over bluetooth on my P800, but have extremly slow vnc-feedback. Does resizing the desktop help, I have 1280x1024, 16bit.

how did you get it to work over bluetooth ? i cant seem to be able to get it to do that..

I have setup a VNC server on my pc, and allowed 'loopback connections' as i was told the P800 gets the same IP as the PC it is connected to via bluetooth..

Any help would be great, thanks.
