OK, only on day 1 and generally I like the phone, a couple of small annoyances ;
- no smileys in the list of symbols? Is there a way to add some into the table? Otherwise I suppose the workaround is to add a template, one for each smiley?
- Any way to display a bigger picture (best would be near to full screen) for incoming calls or do I need an add on application for this?
And generally, is there a 'tips and tricks' website here or elsewhere I should be looking at to get the best out of the phone? Any 'must have' downloads?
TIA

If you press '1' three times in predictive text mode it will add a smiley (not graphically though) then press '*' to change the smiley
To get a full screen caller picture; you need a third party program.
No real 'must haves' for the phone, a few tips:
1. The red 'End' key will take you directly to the standby screen if you hold it down.
2. You can navigate the menus by the keypad by pressing the number keys for each menu item (instead of scrolling). You can also re-arrange them in your favorite order.
3. To get the caller list, press the green key from standby (I love this option -- makes it easy to redial the last person)
4. Holding down the 'menu' key -- I think its the Home key on the E51 will give you a list of currently open apps; you can close any by selecting it and pressing 'c'
That's about all I know 😊
If you like a clear screen and still want to use the "Active Standby" mode and maybe just have your calender entries on screen then Menu>Tools>Settings>General>Personalisation>Standby Mode>Active Standby Plugins then choose what you want to appear or not. Screen looks great with only the Clock, Operator, Date and calender entries showing especially if you have a nice theme selected like any of Thaeib's themes. :icon14:
