thnks IRv. but got a little prob at the sides, where the slide is... its still green... hehehe pero im looking for a solution to it... any way.. thanks...😊

we used autopaint... its my freind who painted it. Thats what he used to do.. paint casings.

He has that small airspray used for models, dats what he's using.

I have a hard time choosing the color for the case... there are a lot of shade of silver, black,etc... im so tempted to experiment with other colors (like yellow, white, red) the sort of shocking colors.. but, hey its not that easy to change cover and buy one atleat it will cost you around $20 (casing and labor for changing it.)

Anyways, im happy with it... its one of a kind (atleast for now.) 😃
Better let the authorize shop do the disasembly... 76 is a very delicate fone... and it will be a waste if your warranty will be void because of tampered waranty stikers... if your fone is not warrantied... still better let the legit guys do the stripping... 😊

your welcome bro 😃
Yeah, the blue one is the 7650c, and i think the only other difference is it supports chinese text. So Pocket Nancy would be slightly easier to understand, lol
I disagree with it supports Chinese text; rather its a Chinese phone which supports English. If you've ever used the newer Chinese Nokias using Series 60 you'll see that there is absolutely NO ENGLISH except for what you type or what is received in an SMS. There is no way to switch it to English; and everything is in Chinese. I have seen a few bits of English but majority is Chinese and to make things worse its electronic Chinese (I find written one hard enough to read.. let alone electronic ones).

that looks suprisingly good, paint the hands free and power buttons silver, what type of paint did you use?

wow! red is good too! really an eye catcher! 😊 nice work qq... but did u paint the slides too? the one at the sides?

Mine still in green.. but i think its fine...

nice if you can paint the buttons with diff color so it wont mix with ur red body! 😃

Pinoy are really ingenuitive ... 😃

HI!..

nice color examples here...

good work...

hey!... BTW!... there are any way to open the 7650 without the
opening tool?... that one that help to separate the keypad from the rest...

any plastic stick that we can push on some place to open the slider and separate?

i want to open just to clean some little dust on the screen ...

thanks!

(i saw the video desassembly, but i don't have that first tool to separate the parts)

cya! 😃
hey guys what do you think of my red 7650? 😃
ok yan pare ha!!! 😃 did you do it by yourself bro? 😃

it's really nice man!! 😃

ya i did it all by myself.. i used tamiya spray paint italian red color. the disassembly is simple n easy to do if u have the right tools. nice suggestion to color the side buttons, i'll do it next time. 😃 😃 😃
how about the bottom part can be painted? 8)
yes it can be painted, its up to you. but i like mine painted just the upper part. 😃
do you need to prime the casing first? or do any special preperation before spraying?
you can prime it if you want but i didnt do that in my casing i just sand it well so that the paint will not be easily "peeled" off. 😃 then add clear coat for extra protection of the paint. 😃

for people who are planning to paint their casing... i think its better if not to make it so glossy.... just matte... just like the originall...it looks better and looks original than if you make it so glossy...

It will look really like an imitation.. 😊
