apps almost certainly .. you'll need to re-install them

music/videos etc almost certainly NOT - you probably have them saved on the Card .. however if you have an N95-8G you should back this stuff up.

I strongly recommend backing up everything before you do your upgrade!

I takes about 20-30Minutes .. to do an update .. depending on the speed of your connection. That doesn't include the backup or the restoration of any data.
