Just talked to Sony Norway, and they just got the first shipment of the 64MB Memory Stick Duo. Unfortunately they haven't decided on the price yet, so I was unable to place an order for our shop. The product Manager would be back next week, and they'll get the price then. So during next week, they should be available in retail shops.

Minor update: Today I even got the price, and I got to place an order. However, noone seemed able to tell me for sure which model they had recieved. (MagicGate or Standard MS Duo). So I placed the order anyway... Should get it in a few days. If it's the MagicGate, I'll try it right away, and post a 100% answer on whether it works or not...😊

You should be able to tell whether it's a MagicGate-enabled or regular Memory Stick by just looking at the price as MG usually costs 33% more. 😉 Even though the price of regular Memory Stick Duo hasn't been announced, you should still have the slimmest idea based on previous models and the existing 16MB ones, and that just makes the "guessing" process a whole lot easier.

So what's the price?
Well, seeing as I'm a dealer, all I've got is the price we pay for it. I'd guess the retail price in Norway would be apx. 800-900 NoK, which should be apx. �110, or $120 or �73.
But, it should be clear to foreigners that Norway is a pretty expensive country, and the price is including our 24% sales tax... I'd say the price seems similar to sonystyle's $69.95 for the MagicGate edition...
What the hell, if it's the MagicGate, at least we'll know for sure whether it works or not...😃
Which number factor are you using calculating the Retail price? 1.6? 1.8?
so the price you get without tax is about, 550/650 nkr?
When will you be selling these duo sticks?
I want one, and I dont care if you are in Norway either 😃

Yeah, � is an "A" at the bottom part, and a circle above the mark. � by typing |� (where the | is drawed upwards), and the � is |�.
By the way, the memory stick duo is confirmed to be MagicGate. They were shipped from Sony yesterday, and I should have them by tomorrow... I'll test it out right away and post some info as soon as possible.
