Downloaded this music video in .mkv format. Bluetoothed it to my phone and it won't play. I was sure it wouldn't but gave it a try. How can I play it thou ? What would I need to convert it into and what should I use ?

You can always buy CorePlayer, which will play mkv files (as well as 239849038483 other formats) on your phone.

Visualhub (or the free version; iSquint) will do the job perfectly - it's what I use on my Mac. 😊
vlc plays mkv files on windows i think theres a mac version
Super will convert matroska files. I use it myself.
