Well we all know about assisted GPS (A-GPS) but what i want to know is in Nokia Maps if you disable Network connections does this stop a-gps or does it just have to be enabled via settings panel to let it work.

The reason i ask is that when A-GPS is enabled via settings menu and network connections disabled in nokia maps their doesn't seem to be any network connection to transfer data.

AGPS has to be disabled in Settings; disabling network connections in Maps doesn't affect AGPS in any way. Check your Log if you are unsure.

For me, turning off network conneciton in maps stops AGPS. With netwrok connecton off I do not see the little icon which indicstes you are sending and receiving data.
