Hi guys,
I've been trying to sign some apps but I can't sign into symbian signed because I only have web based mail can someone either give me some account details, a place where a can get an email account to sign in to symbian signed or just sign them for me?
I can PM my IMEI and I want rotate me and BT switch signed.
Cheers
Chris
Ha, you'll be lucky. Search the forum and have a read. Plus its not really a good idea to post your IMEI number for all too see.
*sigh* not another one...
[EDIT] Sorry that was a bit rude. I'm just fed up of seeing thread after thread of peeps saying "can someone sign this app for me please?".
there is no way for anybody to get a cert anymore. doesnt matter if you have an account or not. you cant sign apps like rotate me anymore...

Try reading. it again, I'm not being lazy I have tried to get it but cannot sign up to SS. I'm after log in details or details of a free web based email that will let you sign up to SS. If not I'm asking someone to sign it for me, but I would rather be capabile of doing it myself, I have made a CSR for it but can't get into SS.
RogerPodacter,
Why is this? is there a way for me to get rotate me on my phone?
I saw the bit that read:

...although I appreciate you wanting to take care of this yourself.
I have an idea. How about if I setup a simple forwarding email for you on one of my domains? It'll be an official email address to SS but it'll forward any receiving email to your web-based email address instead.
I'll only do this for you because I was rude before. Please no one else ask me to do this for them.

i thought it'd already been said that no one can get a certificate any more from SS...
I've had a look at SS and it seems to suggest that they're still available. I haven't needed to go through the process again though because I've already got my certs.

because they implemented this new online signing crap. i already have my own cert, so i can sign apps all day long on my laptop and install them to my phone. but anyone who did not get a cert before this "policy change" is now stuck. rotate me is somehow in the protected range, so only the writer of the app can get it signed.
so no, there is no way for you to get rotate me on your phone if you dont already have your own cert from previously. it sucks the fat one for sure. cause i wanna get the 8GB soon and my cert will not work for that phone, so i will be in the same position as you; unable to sign my own apps like rotate me.
Damn that sucks big time! I didn't think they'd changed it so much. I can see Symbian taking a turn for the worst for this.
(And I'm sure many have already pointed this out 'n all)
