Hi,

I am a N95 8GB user on o2, i am trying to stream videos from a selection of sites but am having troublesdoing so. I have the latest v15 firmware.

The only time i can ever stream video is when using a WLAN at home.

o2 offer the follwoing connections, none of which allow me to view any material:

02 MMS, 02 Mobile Web, 02 Postpay MMS, O2 Postpay Wap, O2 Wap GPRS, O2 Wap GPRS Streaming.

Does anybody else have the same problem or any advice as to fix this?

I have tried the usual sites i.e. BBC, Youtube but to no avail.

O2 have no clue when i call them, so i have given up on them.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated

i need to know this too because youtube works on my sisters t-mobile n73 but wont work on my o2 n95. have o2 blocked streaming videos?

hi scott,

the fastest one is "O2 Mobile Web" - it should show as 3G or 3.5G when you connect (so long as you have 3G coverage - otherwise it uses the normal GPRS).

I've not had much success streaming things either - unless it's on 3g it doesn't seem to work.

Cheers

Alex

I don't think O2 has any HSDPA coverage in the UK so 3.5G could be out of the question at the moment.

no idea maybe they are trialing it, Ive had it in large cities, even in the yorkshire area. Clearly states 3.5g, ill take a screen shot for yu next time i have it.

Oh my god! Those lying bastards! Every time I call/email about it they tell me they have none in the UK. The last time was only a couple of weeks ago as well! They could've at least said "HSDPA is currently rolling out across the UK but is not available in your area yet".

It seems like very poor coverage anyway. For the mostpart you've gotta be in any of the three major cities in the UK in order to get it.

Ahh yes they cover Leeds as well. Another pretty big city in the UK. Nothing for us further up North.
