I have a pc connected to LAN at my office and another one at homewhich is connected to the internet through a wired DSL connection.i just purchased a D-Link usb Wi-fi adoptor yesterday and plugged it into my p.c. Now the problem is ..i want to share my p.c's internet connection with my nokia N95 through the Usb wi-fi dongle. i know this is possible as suggested by some of friends on this forum. I configured a new connection in "set up a wireless network for home or small office". I kept my connection open, no security and on wireless mode ADHOC. N95 finds the WLAN and tries to connect to internet, but then fails. I even tried "hidden" WLAN setting on the N95,and fed the IP address in advanced settings, but of no use, I always get "no gateway reply". I am very disappointed to spend money on WIFI adoptor which is of no use to me. Can anybody help me how to set N95 as well as setting on PC so that I may be able to connect to LAN or DSL internet on N95. Please guide me step by step. I won't forget this favor from my friends. Please suggest something to make me able to enjoy internet on N95. Please!!!

Through control panel> network connections do you have internet connection sharing enabled on the wifi dongle connection?
Using the windows wireless app, view wireless networks
Click on change advanced settings then the the wireless networks tab
Click Add, type a name, use Open network auth and WEP encryption and enter a network key
Tick the boxes for Connect even if not broadcasting and This is an ad-hoc network
Now go into your network connections folder and make the ethernet connection shared (right click > Properties > Advanced)
Thanks a lot for your suggestion. Did whatever you suggested. N95 connects successfully to WiFi and it tries to load the internet page. After a while N95 syas "No gateway reply". I don't know how to solve this problem. Everything is OK to my wnowledge but still N95 is unable to connect to internet.
