OK guys, had to format my PC and now trying to sign something ( have managed fine in the past ). However only had the backup of my .cer file and not .key file, however manged to restore the .key file and it still dont work, unless of course the key file is corrupt from the data recovery.
Can i not just make a new one? I used DevCertReqeustControl to originally create it (marco sort of thing that auto fills in the form) I would presume making a new one would work for the current .cer file I have but this doesnt seem to be the case- am i screwed? 😞
