Thought I might try to update my firmware.

FYI I have a N95-1 (original not 8gb) on orange in the uk.

The original Firmware is v11.0.026. On checking the Nokia Software updater it states that I can update to v13.0.003. So far so good.

I used the stickies at the top of this forum to see what to expect and looking around the forum it seems that people are on version 20 at least. there seems little info about the v13.0.003 that I am being offered.

Does this seem right? Is it worth updating and is it because my phone is on Orange that I am left behind.

Debrand and update firmware.

I have already broken one n95 and don't have insurance so it was expensive but it is one route I could try. Its just the I thought the nokia site was 'recognised' and if the phone broke I could have recompense.
