I have had an SE phone right back to the "brick" days - have been through p800, p910i, into p990 and abondoned that very quickly. I am about to enter into a contract with O2 for a P1i (I would stay with the p910 but the P1i is so much lighter smaller - not so sure about the ease of using software)
Can anyone tell me what to be wary of? eg latest firmware etc. and ANY other advice please?
Jonathan
I have sim free P1i, had the M600i before it, that was also a great phone very similar, this is just faster as it has more ram and camera. Love the Quirky double key layout, I think it is the best way to do it, hate those pull down keyboards from the side of the phone, but it may take you a few goes to get use to it, but if you use a normal keyboard a lot, believe me you will be surprised how you know it so well.
Not had any issues yet touch wood, been around while now so think they have ironed any issues out, you should be fine with using it if you have a P series phone already. You must download google maps for mobile, so call., without GPS is still finds your approx location! How cool it that, for finding a street you need near by… or restaurant so good. Push email works like a dream, suggest you get gmail, they now do IMAP so free push email! Cool.
One issue I do have… bloody T-mobile, rubbish 3G signal in London was even missing calls because of it, so have had to switch the 3G off and just use GSM…. So I am off to 02!!
