0 replies · 3,606 views · Started 18 March 2008

Had my W960i now about 3 weeks, and I can see its going to be a love/hate relationship until some updates come out for it.

Back light keeps brightening when set lower than 50% (to conserve battery)

It 'Creeks' when you are gripping/ using it

Can't text from speed dial

In pull down keyboard menu it does not show options

Cant set moods to albums, only singles or the whole libary of music

Cant enter the 'phone status' menu from the volume keys

cant view my number or hard disc space in 'phone status'

Cant 'hide' documents with in word, even though they are hidden with in file manager

Cant 'Unhide' documents and pictures in phone once hadden via PC

There is no smart search (Think K850i)

In 'Walkman' when you come out of the album that is playing, you dont 'Come Back Out' in that album

You could do so much more with the tha 'Stanby Screen', like make Icons transparent or change there colour

Cant put the icon 'Tools' in the stanby menu

Last edited 'Note' does not go to top of list

Jog dial does not click backwards or forwards (Think P800/P900)

Album Art does not load very quick

Cant Record a phone call

Files jump around phone for no apparent reason

Cant view bookmarks outside of the 'Web'

Cant add new folders in 'Bookmarks'

Somtime the 'Major' programs wont load, two days ago Camera would not start, last night, Walkman would not start, it may be down to RAM, but everything was 'freed up', could not turn it off last week, had to take battery out!

Having said all that, it is an amazing phone, it can multitask like no other, the Web Browser is excellent, Walkman is excellent, Quickoffice is excellent, Picture Viewer excellent, The stanby Screen is excellent, everything is on stanby screen, (a few things duplicated around the screen) camera is ok. I am very happy with phone, just these annoying bugbears on tasks you do in a smartphone everyday, thats why its called a smartphone. like I say a love/hate relationship.

If anyone can put me right on these point feel free to do so, any input would be appreciated.
