Oddities following debranding/Upgrading firmware

Hi guys,

I finally buckled and debranded from o2 and upgraded to v20 at the weekend and I'm unsure if the following niggles are to to the vanilla f/w or v20. Hoping you can let me know if there's a workaround!

1) Web browser - I used to be able to click in a blank area of the screen to bring up a few icons (one of which was refresh) but can't anymore.

2) Web - I use a couple of football scores websites which automatically update every two minutes however once the phone goes to powersaver they won't refresh. Previously the phone wouldn't go go to powersave when on one of these sites, now it does rendering the auto-refresh useless, I'm reluctant to remove the Power Save feature though.

3) Autolock - Phone has always locked itself when closing the slider but not if the slider was already closed - anyway to turn this off!?

Hope you can help!
Darren

p.s. really wish I'd done this a long time ago - phone is so much slicker and bootup time has dropped from 55s to 21s! :icon14:

1. Go to your options when in web browser, tools, show toolbar.

2. pass, but probably a power saver in v20

3. You mean key locked? And you want it to lock when you have manually unlocked rather than sliding?? Id just normally slide it to media and back again. There isnt a built in option for it.

1. cheers, turns out it's just a long press on an empty area now rather than a single click!
2. Really annoying this one!
3. No, almost the opposite, I'd rather it didn't autolock the keypad (I don't mean when closing the slider, I use that method all the time). I mean when it's just left alone but closed.

1. ah yes...
2. Id imagine it is for you... in this method..
3. Oh, well mine doesnt lock the keypad when left alone?!? Its free until I slide it and close it to lock.
