Question for DEVMAN users

To anyone else who has DEVMAN loaded on their 9300/9500...

Have you noticed a periodic "blip" in operations since loading this application?

By "blip", I mean a slight pause in operation.

It would only be noticable when playing music, watching a video or running an application that requires rapid control of the display.

I suspect that the slight momentary interruptions on my 9300 may be caused by DEVMAN because it loads itself at a low level of the OS and has a thread that remains resident at all times even after you "Exit" the UI part of the application.

*** edited postscript *** NO, I do not have my preferences set for auto-heap-compaction every hour.

Not receiving any response here, I have gone ahead and uninstalled DEVMAN.

The problem of occasional stuttering during video playback and during MobiReader smooth autoscrolling seems to have disappeared.

FYI...DEVMAN did not uninstall very well. It remained in the Applications list, despite saying that it had uninstalled. I finally went and deleted its .SIS file from the System directory and it now no longer appears in the installed apps list and no threads remain (determined by using TaskSpy).

My 9300 is running a Peak Performance again!
