Help needed from N95-4 owner/expert

Hello everyone.

I have been on a sharp learning (and Googling) curve lately as I plan to step up into the world of a smartphone for the first time. I have been hanging out for so long for a decent phone, a PDA, GPS, a pocket digital camera, and an iPod that I feel I'm ripe for some convergence technology.

In my travels I have come across this, apparently directly from the manual of what I presume to be an N95-4 model:

Which I'm hoping means that I could buy an N95-4 (with 850MHz support) and add the 2100MHz UMTS band.

Can anyone try this with their N95-4, or otherwise confirm/debunk this theory for me?

FWIW it is from http://www.wirelessinfo.com/content/Black-8GB-Nokia-N95-hits-FCC.htm

no this is not the n95-4. the n95-4 does NOT have the 2100 band. it has the 850 and 1900 band for 3G. so if you are in the US, and use ATT, you should get the n95-4. the n95-2 has the 2100 band, which will not help you in the US.
