Linux calendar utility

I'm trying to find a way to add/edit calendar entries from my Fedora 8, to my E90.

It's still easier to type these in linux rather than our (pardon the expression) "toy keyboard" on the E90.. And besides, I need to do a lot of cut-paste from the data of my former Palm device..

Did anyone find something that works? I tried Virtualbox, but that had troubles with the USB cable AND the bluetooth. I tried Wammu+gammu, but its gnapplet cannot be installed on series 3 devices, it seems. 😞 wammu's other access methods likewise failed so far..

Many thanks!

Likewise I'm looking for a way to edit "notes" on the nokia -- I have lots of notes from the palm machine that I need to transfer over..

Btw, It works to mount the device in DATA mode (when E90 asks you you pick data), then I get C: and E: drives (ugh!) under /dev/Memory Card 😊 I can copy and paste files into it..

Depending on which tool you use in Linux to maintain your calendar, I would suggest looking into syncml as the method to sync calendar entries. I rely on Evolution + an online (free) service called Scheduleworld. Works quite well. The only problems I've had were related to scheduling in multiple timezones (I travel quite much) but I had the same issues with Outlook & Mobile way back when...
