Any suggestions please

the ONLY call recording app that truly doesnt have the beep is Total Recall, v3 i think (whatever the latest is). i tried every recording app out there, and they all claim no beep and they still have the beep. some of them dont record the beep, but they still play the beep to alert the other party they are being recorded. total recall doesnt have a beep PERIOD. so i use that.

all the previous version had beeps, you can only use the LATEST version which has no beeps at all. i used it on my n95-3 and now its installed on my n95-4 and works perfect. it was hard to find the sis file, somehow i found it on a site but it wasnt the official site. but it was giving the trial version somehow. i gave it a shot and its been in my collection ever since.

For a recorder that only kicks in with sound detection you might want to check out SkyeSpy.

Ultimate Voice Recorder will record without beeps. I used to use it and it was pretty good.

but does it play the beeps during the call? most dont record the beeps, just play them while its recording. this is what some apps mean when they claim "no beep."

Actually heard ultimate voice recorder DOES have beeps to the other caller

How about this? I saw it while browsing for widgets (it's a widget btw, or so it claims) and thought it might be what you're looking for.

[EDIT] Just looked at it and it's not a widget. It the ALON MP3 Dictaphone. which you said wasn't any good. Sorry 'bout that.
