Hey people,
i have just bought the nokia 7650 from a friend, now it has a couple of poly-ringtones on it but when i send new ringtones to it via Ir and try to open the message, I get the message file format not supported. I have the Nokia PC Suite for the 7650 but dont know how to send ringtones thru it ( if possible )...
BTW i can send pictures with no dificulty but .midi files i can't...
Any solutions to this would be a great help... Thanx
PS I do not have the CD that comes with the phone
I've a similar problem, but only when i try to send a *.mid via MMS.
when i try to insert a sound clip there's no sounds, it says without any data.
with seleQ it says file corrupted or format unsupported.
maybe its a software bug or something like that.
Anyone have an idea?

It is _not_ possible to send midi files as MMS attachments. (for copyright reasons)
You cant send midi files thru PC-suite. Only pictures.
Just send tru BT or IR, as email attachments or WAP
And try renaming those to .mid (dont know if it matters but all of my midis are .mid instead of .midi)
