just updated guys and have reinstalled garmin.problem is i get the black garmin screen laoding then it just switches back to the menu screen? any ideas?

Uninstall, and reinstall. I know its a pain, but it sorted it for someone else having the same problem.
Oh, and do you have a decent amount of RAM available? Garmin doesnt like low amounts (I forget how much it needs though).

its workin only i believe that the internal gps soesnt work after n82 update and im guessing its the same for n95 then as mine wont either
Shouldnt be any reason why it doesn't. Did you uninstall the first version before installing .60?
is no1 else having this problem after updating software? Garmin will now not let connect using internal GPS i think i read somewhere a user had said not to update the n82 to lates software you needed garmin to work on the internal GPS. this now seems as if its the [roblem i have as i have completely removed and started from scratch 3 times now and it just wont let me
I am having the same problem today. I have been using the latest N95 Firmware, V21.0.0.16 with Garmin Mobile XT V4.10(60). Garmin release 4.10(80), so I thought I'd give it a try. No luck, it loads onto the memory card, installs on the N95 and then won't run. The Garmin screen flashes up and exits again. Oh well, back to the old version I guess!

Those having problem after updating Garmin usually just forgot to install the .sis
E:\Garmin\Apps\Symbian\res\GarminMobileXT.sis
