I just got an unlocked 9300 off ebay, tried to use my SIM from 3 network but it says SIM rejected.

IT's definately an unlocked mobile

Any ideas?

Your phone might be reported stolen. In that case it won't work on any network in the UK.

Even Japan allows GSM phones (with their special frequency) to their network. It must be blacklisted IMEI, press *#06# , write it down and call your mobile provider with that number in hand asking what is wrong. If it is actually stolen, you may call police and say you purchased it from eBay without knowing that fact. Let that crook live some consequences.
