Opera Mobile 9.5.....M.I.A. — Nokia N95 and N95 8GB

On the 5th February Opera Software announced the impending multiplatform release of Opera Mobile 9.5, just prior to the Mobile World Congress. Its specification seemed impressive and the accompanying video whetted our appetites still further.

And yet nearly two months down the line there is still no news of a beta - nor even a restricted alpha - release. A leaked alpha emerged on the Windows Mobile platform many weeks ago but this is all we have seen. Are developers now in the habit of announcing the 'impending' release of software eons before it acually surfaces?

Does anyone have any idea on a release date?

No... its all very quiet... the Opera site is a bit of a joke in trying to easily find out about 9.5.

The Opera Press release is about the only info but thats got not date info for release. 😞

I bet they are trying to improve the security of it b/c the other releases got hacked very quick and ended up all over the net losing them millions in revenue .So it's no surprise company's are taking there time and being more cautious with there new software.A good example was nokia when the Ngage 1st access was released, cracked versions of the games and modded versions of the app itself was everywhere within a week.
