Do I still have to decompress a compressed application when I want to uninstall or update it ?
Question about Space Doubler
Well Psiloc is the expert on this however I dont. It removes the folder of the appliction that is unistalled anyways.
No, you don't have to. As long as you install it again to update it. But if you are permanently removing the Space doubler, then you should decompress all your apps and messages, everything.
I tink he ment the apps that you compress not the app that compresses itself! I dont uncompres them with Sdoubler I dont know about Stacker though!
Oh. Silly me, thanks Muffy.
With Stacker you also don't have to uncompress them first. But you have to start Stacker once after the upgrade. It will then automatically compress the updated app.

doesnt it that sDoubler, when you open it, prompts as a reminder to decompress apps before uninstalling or upgrading them? :-?
The reminder used to come up on older versions of sDoubler .. I have the latest one and there's no reminder anymore ..are you there Psiloc ?
