Anyone know how to set this up?
My email account is IMAP4 and when I send email from the N95 8GB I can see it in the phones 'sent' section, but it doesn't save them in the IMAP4 'sent mail' section.
Is there a way of telling messaging where you want it to store 'sent' items in the IMAP store? Is it anything to do with 'Folder subscriptions' in Retrieval settings?
I think its down to the settings your mail server has. There is an option to send a copy to yourself. Bit messy but might help.
My mail server won't let me save into sent items or even see them!
Mmm, yes I have tried the 'send copy to self' but was looking for a 'proper' solution.
There must be a way to do it. Doubly frustrating as I can see the sent items in my IMAP store on the N95 8GB and yet I have to go to 'Sent' in messaging (outside of the IMAP email account in Messaging to see the emails I have sent from the phone.
Sort of defeats the point of IMAP if you don't have a synchronised set of sent and received items, regardless of the host client.
