Recently purchased a w960i and I've been amazed at the depth and thought put into its features. I wanted to impress mates even more with a theme that I've seen on the w960i's on Youtube. Its an iPhone them WITH slide touchscreen keylock. Anybody know where to get the theme and if it needs any extra work to install it?

Managed to get hold of 2 seperate parts - iPhone theme and a Java application which locks the phone and can be unlocked with iPhone style touchscreen slide.

Hmm...well, the iphone lock app works, but it's more like a bit of window dressing than a dedicated locking mechanism. Seems a bit pointless if you have to actually run the app every time you want to lock the phone, rather than just hold the 'back' key down....still quite pretty though, but I'd rather have an actual slide lock that was more adaptable, cooler looking, and actually could be set as a default lock mechanism....
...also, without wanting to sound crass or rude, why do people want to make their w950/960's look like an iPhone? I don't get it. iPhones may be flavor of the month, but is trying to emulate an iPhone really that cool? (admittedly, it's nice to know it can be done, but iPhone purists would probably see an iPhone mod on a w960i and smirk!) - Wouldn't it be better to develop homebrew stuff that would make an iPhone user green with envy? (after all, they are lumbered with their firmware, and UIQ phones have a lot of potential for development...!)

I feel what you're saying about both the functionality of the screen lock & also trying to emulate the iPhone. All I can say is that I knew my mates would be impressed with it. Try telling them about the phones development potential & its ease at running 3rd party apps & they go to sleep! I wouldn't change my W960 for an iPhone at all. Currently using a dev SE theme & standard lock. Will post up here any other touch lock I come across!
