I would like to thanks the mods and the people here in this forum for all the help and support, I guess it is a "give and take", I helped people before here signing their apps when SS was open. My problem started when I plan to upgrade to FW v.21 , during installation the phone switched off "it was fully charged" and can't boot it after that , so I asked for a help here and got it from "Flip95" and "dog-man" , big thanks for them and special big one for "Flip95" , he/she guide me through the process of using phoenix to fix the problem. so to everyone here who got this problem already or planning to upgrade, beside making a backup also get phoenix software ready just in case. I know many here upgrade without a problem, but some had that issue too. I did an upgrade many time before with no problem , only this time I got this issue!
Thanks for this forum
Thats how the forums work, someone gets advice from someone else, and hopefully they stick around to share it once more.
Glad to see its helped you out, and its nice that you have said thanks. Makes a nice change to the ones that post once then leave 😊

there is USB chargers for nseries phones i have just brought 1 for N95 8GB/N95 .
i got it off ebay in a accessories pack ,i hope it works, not got it yet
i know normal USB don't work,
I bought a desktop charger from Expansys (Australian one as I'm in New Zealand). It plugs into the USB port of my pc and charges my phone as well as connecting to my pc.
They have them on the uk site as well. They charge through USB but also have the option to plug a charger into the back for faster charging. I think the usb charge is more of a trickle.

Hi Flip,
Could ypu provide a link to the help you gave justnew.
I read the sticky notes on how to debrand so down loaded Nemesis, it appears pretty easy but perhasps I ought to have something in place in case I get into trouble.
Hi,
Sorry, it wasn't a link - it was my notes on how I used phoenix to upgrade the F/W on my phone before it (the F/W) was realeased via NSU.
Best advice I can offer is make sure you've got all the most recent nokia software installed (PC Suite and Nokia Software Updater) installed before you begin.
Also make sure that the phone is fully detected before you start. The biggest problem I've experienced with NSU is when it switches the phone into a different mode and Windows installs a new load of device drivers for the phone (OBEX i think they were?) - NSU can't handle the pause, it crashes - and leaves the phone dead.
If you PM me your e-mail address, I'll gladly send you what I sent "justnew".
