Word on the street is that it also patches away any possibility of using the permission bypass that is quite avidly being discussed in other forums.
I would expect the N95-1 and 3 will see new firmware very soon too.

I want this NOW!

I never did get a signed copy of RotateMe (tried the day AFTER Symbian stopped free signing) and have always wanted it!

How soon we looking?

presumably the n95-1 and n95-3 will have similar firmware updates at some point... however they have just had a major update so presumably the n95-2 will get these features first...

Are you talking about the hack to by pass signing applications ?

why is it that the n95 8gb models get the good stuff first? first demand paging, then flash lite 3, and now ASR? i just don't get it.
although i am thankful that they haven't abandoned it alltogether.
it might be a while since we n95-1 owners just got the v21 update.

Because Nokia loves N95 8GB owners more.

Does this update has a User Data Preservation?

And one question; what kind of information contains last line of the *#0000#, mine is Nokia N95 (06.01).

The 8GB is an upgrade from the std N95 and it is more expensive. This means that it's the top of the line N-series and thus always a small step ahead.

Had a feeling the new FW would include ASR as this is mentioned in my user manual (see my previous post on this). Also - interesting that Nokia emailed me back saying that this was a misprint and that the N95 8GB does not have ASR and that they were changing the manuals. Can't wait for the update.
