Your phone has probably stored the wrong SMS Message centre number.
If you have access to an older handset, try putting your SIM in to that and see what SMS Centre number is displayed in the SMS Settings menu?
Failing that, I would recommend you debrand and re-flash to Euro-1 Firmware
Message Center Number is stored on the sim. The phone will use this.
Check what it is by going to messages > options > settings > text messages
And check the phone is using the sim message center
I had the same problem with O2
After talking to customer Service through e-mail (which is actually REALLY good, dead impressed) they sent me a fresh one free of charge.
So I went under Messaging>Options>Settings>Message Centre and it has my name as i put it i guess. I put my name and number in it. I'm not sure I was using Iphone before this i guess i will try to go in there and find out.
OK it says no message centre defined as i deleted the one i had created. Anyone know what or how should i create one and what i need to put in ?
Thank You
Sorry to bring an old thread from the dead, but this is what I am currently dealing with. My N95 8gb arrived a couple days ago and I'm sending my E66 back. I've always been able to just drop in my sim and send a text, but this is asking me for message center info and there's no option to use whats on the sim
Try here:-
http://www.filesaveas.com/sms.html
It is a list of UK operators and SMS message centre numbers.

Thanks for that, but I'm in the U.S. I did figure out what to put in later on from I believe a post on howardforums.com. I'll try to put it here sometime to help others.

Sorry... must have been having a senior moment. Glad you've got it sorted though.
