Calendar viewing in PC Suite update

Every single version after 6.81.13.0 has a bug that has not be corrected.
I have posted about this in Nokia Forums alas, no response. Perhaps someone in here can confirm and advise remedy.

If I send sms using PC Suite, going into Contact, right click, send message... in PC Suite messages pane I see the message and name of the person, however, going into Sent Items on the phone I see the message and contact NUMBER instead of name.

Any takes ?

mac user: not much to get excited about, its only a month view embedded in the existing pc suite interface with pop up labels for meetings, hopefully the windows only problem will be removed when nokia launch ovi sync and everything is done in a web browser...(I know there are lots of existing online services out there but hopefully this will be integrated with the other ovi services (music, games, photos etc...).

Has anybody worked out how to use the rss sync feature in this (and 6.85+) releases where rss feeds can be sync-ed between the phone and browser? The user guide only talks about supported phones and browsers but never found a list! Using a 6120c and IE7 both of which have rss feeds, so give me a sync option Nokia....

I just installed this version and my E70 does not sync anymore. My phone gets stuck at Sending Contacts and will not finish the sync. It has been 20 minutes and no change...

Well my Nokia 9500 was working find with an older version of PC Suite, but now neither the cable, bluetooth, nor infrared connections are working. Win XP still recognizes the phone (bluetooth works fine for sending files, etc) but PC Suite is now useless since it does not connect too the phone.

What I have observed with PC Suite 6.86 is that my N82 or E65 both don't connect using USB cable. On connecting the cable, it gives me an error saying USB Phone parent (E65 or N82) installation failed.

I even tried installing the cable driver package for N82 separately but encountered same issue.

Reverting back to PC Suite 6.85 gives no issues.

Anyone else facing this issue ?

I am using a 9500 and all is working ok , using windows xp sp2

Are the people reporting problems using Vista? I dont think there is any issue with XP as such.

The problems with my 9500 are happening with Win XP sp2. Everything worked fine with the previous PC suite, but the new one does not finalize the connection to the phone. It recognizes the phone with bluetooth (and I can even send files w/out PC Suite) but at the end of the configuration process PC Suite does not show an active connection to the phone, either with bluetooth or the cable. I'm pretty sure I have the most recent firmware on the phone. Tried restarting everything but no help.

I can confirm the bug Alex reported. I've got a N95....

I really like the new version of PC Suite, which works a lot more stable I think. I've connected my N95 via USB Cable and Bluetooth. I'm using Win XP SP2.

Another Thing: Is there a way/software to edit/add callendar entries to the mobile via PC? PC Suite displays the calendar entries, but there is no way to edit or ad entries. I know I could sync it via Outlook, but in the office I don't want my private things in Outlook and so I don't want to sync with Outlook int the office. If there is a way to get it work with Thunderbird or another software it will be great 😊

I have a nokia 3500c, i like the calendar interface its great and very handy, but what would be super amazingly awesome is for us to see nokia PC suite have a full screen calendar interface, that when i plug my phone in i can easily chop and change my schedule and always have this info on hand, on my phone
