Arrrrrghh! MfE / .cer file.

Has anyone got this to work yet??!?!? 😡

Driving me nuts. I gave up a while ago on the N73, but thought i'd try on the '90. Still having the same go-around. Cannot find a way to install the .cer file.

Any ideas, success?

Its an E90 (duh!), going through OWA to an Exchange 2007 server. Created a 'selfsigned' .cer from the original cetificate.

OMG! I fixed it! 😮

Took a while, and had to use several different writeups to get what i needed, but it works.

Hope this helps.

1) Install MfE. (Duh!)
2) Get a copy of your OWA certificate. Work with your sys admin if needed. (I am the sys admin!). Bluetooth the certificate to your phone. Open the message, and save the certificate. Tick ('check'😉 all three boxes.
3) Setup the MfE profile. I found that when i was entering the OWA address it does not like having 'https://xxxxxxxxxxxxx/owa in that box. Turns out it ONLY wants the middle part. In my case thats 'mailgate.ontraq.com' If you have the 'https://', it deletes it, if you have the '/owa', it doesn't connect.

I do still get the 'untrusted certificate' message, but clicking 'continue' gets past that. I'll have to figure that bit out.

This was using MfE 2.3, Exchange 2007, and an E90.

Did you get this sorted? I'm having the same problem with my E90 and SBS 2003
