I have given T-mobile enough time on this one so I will now reveal all!
Go to the T-mobile site www.t-mobile.co.uk and look through the pay monthly phones.
On page 4 you will find the E51 and the E51 with copilot.
Go to view details and then phone features.
In the connectivity section you will find that this phone is advertised as having a built in GPS receiver.
Now get on to customer services and tell them that the phone has been misrepresented with misleading advertising and haggle some compensation. You have the right to cancel your contract.
I did it and would be interested in any results forum members negotiate.
T-mobile - You're a shocker - E51 related
So what did you get out of it? Just the right to cancel your contract (and return the phone)?

Three months free tarrif.
Ah. Id be more annoyed tbh. 3 months wouldn't cut it for me.

I'm on a very high tarrif with w'n'w max and the cut in cost is significant.
Fair enough. If it goes someway to buying a phone with GPS, then thats ok then 😉

I have bought a next gen 42 channel 'key ring' bluetooth GPS receiver and could buy two more!

Well done pa49 for the "heads up" on this and also well done for getting T-Mobile to give you a refund of 3 months charges. :icon14:
