Daft noob question

Had a quick look, and it doesn't look like it'll do what you want. The Nokia's (N and E series) use a seperate charger from the data cable. So this Boxwave is a useful for a compact data cable, but won't charge your phone. If you still want one (for data transfer), look for on that has USB on one end, and mini USB on the other. That will work for the E90.

And no, it won't charge your phone, just transfer data.

Well, dang. I'm wrong again. Yes that WILL work, and it'll charge too. Nice find.

I emailed Boxwave, here is their response so I guess it is up to E90 users now:

We currently do not have a miniSync specifically designed for the Nokia
E90. We would appreciate your suggestion since we develop our products
based on the number of requests we receive for a particular model.

However, my original question has not been answered yet.

Does the N95 use the same charging connector as the E90?

If it does then I don't need to wait for Boxwave to make a new product, I can use the N95 version.

My "yes that WILL work" wasn't clear enough??

Let me try it another way. My colleague at work has been ski-ing all last week. I've been using his N95 charger for my E90 all week.

Just thought I'd wrap this thread up. I bought two of the N95 MiniSync cables and they're great; I can now either sync and charge at the same time or charge both my phone and another USB device at the same time - great for overnight refreshment of the phone & my BT headset. :icon14:
