...Although not by me (sob). I've got my own thoughts and opinions, which will have to wait until the black N82 arrives at AAS towers. Until then, kudos to Daniel from Sweden, who has unboxed (seemingly) the very first black N82 out in real world shops. Some photos below, plus a link.
Read on in the full article.
I almost held out for a black N82, but decided to get a titanium one, and I don't regret it at all, it looks amazing when used with Nokia's Dots themes especially the blue.
I was really worried I wouldn't like the N82 after the N95 8GB, but I don't miss the N95 8GB at all, the camera is much improved, the lense cover is fantastic I have started to take lots of pictures again, I'd given up using the the N95 8GB as a camera as the picture were quite poor, much worse than the original N95.
AAS admins can we add the N82 into the N95/N95 8GB forum, it have everything in common with these and nothing in common really with the N81.
better live pics of the device can be found here: http://justamp.blogspot.com/2008/04/nokia-n82-black-live-pics.html
plemix.com has it, but they don't take overseas wire transfers or my visa electron. shot them an email, i must own this device.
What is the purpose of these unboxing's?
Not hating, just trying to figure out why these are important. Are they just content fillers.
Oh, granted most unboxings are a bit pointless, but they're newsworthy when:
* it's the very first time a particular device has been seen in a consumer's hands
OR
* the unboxer in question has some pithy opinions and first impressions
IMHO. These pics obviously fell into the first category.
Thanks Steve.
Some sites live by the unboxing and I think it can look prety cheap and petty sometimes. I was just wondering about the value of it.
hello,
please test n82 black ..
* Case'if slightly difference Opening'
* Sometimes blur in the photos!
* Joystick does not work very well when you click to the right
* Noise when you click on the buttons straight to the top!
thx
Steve,
Please keep the unboxings. I think it's nice to see the retail packaging.
Is the black N82 coming to the Nokia UK online shop, just titanium and white available now.

Our visitors want to see them, so we provide them, that's pretty much the justification. If people didn't click on them, we wouldn't bother doing them. 😊
Typically we do the unboxing photos as soon as we get the phone, then we do the proper review a week or so later to give us time to assess the phone properly. The unboxing is a sort of appetiser, with the main meal being the review.
I think a lot of people enjoy seeing what the phone looks like in real life instead of publicity photos, and it's useful if your local phone retailer doesn't have any demo units on display.
Thanks to you as well krisse, and I can see your point and it makes sense. On some sites that I have visited, I have seen not less than 1.92 Googplex to the Nth power of photos dedicated to the unboxing. I saw a set of box construction photos once. This was power unboxing at its finest.

LOL
Yeah, an unboxing article probably shouldn't concentrate too much on the actual box. 😊
Nice Photos - I noticed this version got a full year navigation included -- cool😊
Some ones wish to buy second hand n82 sets, then they need to have a clear picture of what is available with the new ones and what he is getting.
Thanks
